More EHRs earn certification

Another 18 electronic health record (EHR) products for office-based physicians have been certified by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology, bringing to 55 the total number of EHRs that have received CCHIT certification within the past year. The total represents about 25 percent of the companies in the ambulatory EHR market, CCHIT estimates. The most recent additions to the roster are shown in the chart.
